On-Point Snappyby Jolene
As I began this scrappy on-point quilt, I was a little apprehensive. It appeared to be very complicated, and without QuiltRBuddy it would have been. My first step was to create a template for the quilt blocks — only one was needed. I then made 16 copies, each in different colors, using variations of light and dark for each block. Then I used the Quilt Builder to lay out my blocks wherever I wanted them, adding binding and backing. I did this entire quilt-planning project in about two hours — and even stopped to feed my family during that time. I absolutely love being able to see my creation in the moment. It's such a relief not to worry, when I created the quilt myself and not someone else's pattern. QuiltRBuddy is fast becoming my favorite quilting buddy.

For as long as Jolene and I have been together, I have watched her at the kitchen table or on the couch, sitting with construction paper and tape, working on her quilts. That seems arcade to me. I'm sure that cavemen didn't do it that way. This was my answer to it.
In the journey of writing Quilter Buddy for Jolene, I ended up building a quilt. This is my first one. I'm so proud of it in fact that it actually ships with the app. Take a look at it and tell us what you think.
