Delete Your QuiltRBuddy Data

QuiltRBuddy has no accounts to close. Here is how to remove each kind of information, wherever it is kept.

1. On our server

QuiltRBuddy keeps no name or account for you. What we hold is described in our Privacy Policy.

What we can delete: your free trial or free-year record, if you signed in with Google. Tell us that Google address and we find it.

What we keep: problem reports and usage counts, as the Privacy Policy describes.

Your computer’s trial code stays. It is a scrambled code made from Windows’ own ID (see the Privacy Policy), with nothing about you in it. Keeping it is what stops a reinstall from starting a second free trial.

To have us delete your trial or free-year record, email privacy@sierradigitalforge.com with the subject “Delete My QuiltRBuddy Data” and the Google address you signed in with. We reply within 5 business days and finish within 30 days.

To stop sending usage counts, turn them off in Edit → Preferences.

2. On your computer

• Uninstalling QuiltRBuddy removes its settings, logs and installation ID.
• Your quilts are saved in your Documents\QuiltRBuddy folder, or wherever you chose. Uninstalling leaves them alone, because they are your work. Delete them yourself if you want them gone.

3. In your Google Drive (Transfer Quilt)

If you used Transfer Quilt, the quilts you sent are in a private App folder in your own Google Drive, not with us. To remove them, open Google Drive on the web, go to Settings → Manage apps, choose Options next to QuiltRBuddy, and select Delete hidden app data. To remove the App’s access to your Google account, go to your Google Account → Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services and remove QuiltRBuddy.
