Mia Budget Buddy — Refund Policy

Where refunds are handled
Premium subscriptions purchased through the Google Play Store are processed by Google Play Billing. Refunds are subject to Google Play’s refund policies (currently: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637), which provide an automatic 48-hour self-service refund window for most paid app purchases, plus an additional discretionary path for longer-window requests.
Where this Policy is more generous than Google Play’s defaults, this Policy applies. Where Google Play is more generous, Google Play’s terms apply.
Our standard
We want you to enjoy the App. If something goes wrong, we’ll try to make it right.
When refunds are available

When refunds are NOT available
- Cancellations made after the 14-day initial trial window for that subscription (you keep access through the end of the paid period).
- Cancellations during the renewal of a previously-active subscription (use the 30-day price-change notice window to cancel before renewal if a change affects you).
- Charges older than 60 days at the time of request.
- Accounts terminated by us for material violations of the Terms of Service.
EU / UK statutory withdrawal right
If you are a consumer in the European Union, United Kingdom, or European Economic Area, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive / Consumer Contracts Regulations, beginning the day after you purchase. To exercise, contact support@sierradigitalforge.com within 14 days, or use the Google Play refund flow.
By starting to use the Premium service immediately upon purchase, you consent to the loss of the right of withdrawal once the service is fully performed. (This is a standard SaaS clause but verify with counsel for your specific operating jurisdictions.)
How to request a refund
Step 1 — Google Play first (fastest).
- Open Google Play.
- Tap Subscriptions → Mia Budget Buddy → Help & feedback → Refund request.
- Follow the prompts. Most requests inside the auto-refund window are processed in minutes.
Step 2 — Contact us if Google Play declines or the window has passed.
- Email support@sierradigitalforge.com with subject “Refund Request.”
- Include the Google order ID, the charge date, and the reason for the request.
- We will respond within 5 business days and process approved refunds within 10 business days, subject to Google Play’s settlement timing.
Processing time
Refunds processed through Google Play typically appear on your statement 3–10 business days after they are issued, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Status note (2026-05-17): No paid tier has shipped yet. Mia Budget Buddy is currently free to install and use. This Policy will become operative on the date a Premium subscription becomes purchasable in the Play Store listing.
